Description: Originally built as a palace in 1876 the building was carefully renovated into a hotel in 1998 and still conserves many of its original features and character of its neoclassical style: the facade has romantic and baroque details; there is a generous entrance that would have been used for the transit of old carriages, that leads up to a magnificent interior courtyard, which today is the hotel's reception and bar from which you can admire the marble stairs that take you up to the 74 rooms set over 5 floors.

Situated between the Plaza Catalunya and the Barrio Gotico, and close to Las Ramblas, the hotel is positioned perfectly for easy access to the main attractions, restaurants and bars.

Taking your comfort and rest into consideration, renovation work was carried out in June 2007 to offer you double glazing in the exterior rooms and improvements to the facilities.

Location Description: Located in a building belonging to the Artistic Heritage list of Barcelona, the Catalonia Albinoni hotel has an excellent location above a main pedestrian street, between the Barrio Gótico and Plaza de Catalunya.
