Description: Its not easy to present the Convento di Agghielli to you because its qualities are so wide and varied they cannot be expressed in the usual words and phrases that introduce a visitor to a hospitality enterprise. But we have to start somewhere. So lets begin by telling you who has realised this dream. There are two of us: Marinella, qualified as a professional accountant, and Dario the present writer who is a professor currently engaged in research at the university. We love simplicity, clarity of behaviour and things done well, as they used to be. Whatever you wish to know about the organisation when you contact us, we are always happy to give you any information you desire. We have tried to bring into fruition for ourselves and for you a common dream. We are a contented family (with two lovely children at present, Francesco and Andrea) living in a monastic complex dating from the 11th century, in a farm extending over a good 100 hectares (250 acres), in a city rich in history and culture, in a region famous throughout the world for its natural beauty. Description: Ancient Convent, dating back to 1200, restored and furnished with the biological architecture, only 3 miles from Spoleto, in the south of Umbria. Now it has been transformed into a splendid farm accommodation, surrounded by 92 hectares of woods and fields, with 5 double rooms and 11 suites.
Restaurant with organic and bio-dynamic food from the estate, bar, tv lounge, library in the little church, car parking, wellness centre for holistic therapies, mountain bikes, trekking paths.

Rooms: Double Room - Double room with standard double bed, en-suite a bathroom with shower; each room is equipped to the highest level of confort: minibar, television with sat channels, videotape recorder or DVD, radio, telephone with direct outide line, heating, emergency lighting. Each room has been furnished and coloured according to the building biology, with wooden beds and mattresses made of latex and coconut, futon, feather covers; linen are perfumed with essential oils.
The view from each room is above the valleys and the mountains surrounding the Convent.
Grand Suite - The suite is formed by a sleeping room with a standard double bed, a living room with a double bed-settee, and a bathroom with shower. Each suite is equipped to the highest level of confort: minibar, television with sat channels, videotape recorder or DVD, radio, telephone with direct outside line, heating, emergency lighting. Each room has been furnished and coloured according to the building biology, with wooden beds and mattresses made of latex and coconut, cotton futon, feather covers, sheathed electric wires; linen are perfumed with essential oils.
Each room has a wide panorama from the windows upon the hills which surround the Convent.
