This hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was older and showed its age but was nice considering the money I paid.

Everything was amazing except the shattered view of construction buildings. It ruins the Hyatt and makes it not worthy of being a 4 star, despite their impeccable service and attention to detail.

Superb downtown location, clean and well-maintained for an older hotel. The restaurant is fairly good for a hotel. The only real problem I find with this hotel is that you need to walk what seems to be about 1/4 mile to get to the parking garage. If you are in any hurry, this is an issue.

Over-all, the Hyatt regency was a great. It's a border-line 4-star hotel, as some areas still look old. The staff was very friendly, and the views from the 17th floor were fantastic! Their beds were very comfortable, which is a huge plus! Great location if you are going on a cruise the following day or two.

The room was very nice and was kept impeccable each day by the housekeeping staff. Very warm and inviting room. I liked the hotel lobby, very nice decor. The only problem was that the hotel did not have near by restaurants (outside the hotel) and shops; and the area was considered unsafe after dark which made it challenging to venture out without a car.

Spaghetti and meatballs was over $30 ($22 + tax + 20% gratuity). Internet was not free, $10 a day for that. And parking wasn't free either, $12.25 a day with no in-and-out privileges. Make sure you eat before 10pm. It gets too dangerous to walk around that part of Miami at that time and most restaurants that deliver are closed. Then you'll be stuck with ordering room service.

I will never again stay at a Hyatt Hotel. For Four Stars, I would expect much better treatment. The room was poorly arranged (bathroom area took up far too much space, yet was still cramped feeling), and the service was very lacking. Room service ends at an early 12am. Parking is $12.50 per day, plus $12.50 per time you use your car, or you can valet for $27 per day; none of the parking pricing was on their website. When I first arrived, there were blood stains on my bed, and I was given breakfast passes for it. Fine, but nothing was done about the AC that wouldn't cool the room, and the bugs. I was bitten by a Brown Recluse spider and had to go to the hospital 2 days after leaving the hotel. They didn't care about any of the complaints after the blood incident, so I checked out a day early to get away from this horrible hotel. Four Star rating should be stripped.

Location was ok. Swimming pool had too much chlorine. My kids complained a lot after swimming. Their eyes were burning. I have to put the medicine in their eyes. Too much mosquitoes. They should spray insects' killers at the swimming pool. I think hotel management did turn off the A/C in the middle of the night.

We were lucky to get a re-done room. The 2 other rooms were adequate to poor. Overall, it fit the bill for a convenient location to the beach and South Beach.

I enjoyed valet parking. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable. However, there were stains on the towels. The shampoo was already opened. I felt that the room should have been cleaner, especially the bathroom area.

Excellent stay very convenient to the downtown close walking distance to shops and restaurant. This hotel is about 3 minutes from the port where the cruise ships leaves from. City bus stop is 2 blocks from hotel and you can travel throughout Miami on different city buses for $1.50. Train in air takes you to Bay shore marketplace for $3.00.

Nice hotel, beautiful inside near bayside market place. Beautiful rooms, great locations central to shopping and American airlines arena.

Beware rooms on low levels. Construction sounds can be heard all night.

The accommodation was fine - definitely not great as I was expecting. It was obviously a business place, everything was tired.
