Hotel Restaurant a little on the expensive side, however chef was willing to change dishes to accomodate a vegetarian, as a vegetarian option was not always available. Location very good for shopping, not so great for tourists.

Excellent location in Ginza and so close to the underground system. Our only problem was the airconditioning which we put down to 20 degrees but it never got that low as it was 27 outside. Coming from Oz we are used to a warm climate but we could not get it right. Other than that it was fine with free internet access very handy.

I thought this hotel was a gem. Resteraunt was expensive but lots of places about. Next door to a rail station. Close to all the shops on Ginza.

This was a cnvenient option at the price as we needed two rooms for our family. Close to the major stores like Matsuya. Easy for the subway to other parts of Tokyo

Fantastic location near to metro stations. Rooms small but this is Japan. Restaurant overpriced but there are plenty of other places nearby. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Good value from buying on the RatesToGo.com.

The service of the staff was outstanding. They should be commended for their effort to be of assistance to their guests, they go above and beyond the call of duty.

Overall stay at Mercure has been an excellent one. The staffs have been helpful and efficient. Though small, it's excellent location at Ginza has been really splendid! The cosy rooms are tastfully decorated and always neatly made without fail everyday! However to include 24 hr room service will be thoughtful. An improvement in the television programmes provided, eg. basic MTV, HBO will also allow non Japanese hotel guests to enjoy further. Given a chance, I will love to recommend Mercure Ginza to others and be sure to stay with Mercure Ginza again in near future!

We stayed there for 5 nights. Room's relatively good. Check out was the earliest I've encountered so far. 11am. And not possible to negotiate for slightly later checkout without having to pay extra of 6K+ yen for up to 3pm. But they were happy to keep my luggage until my transport came to pick me. Most staff are happy to assist you with directions. They will print out the train details + map for where you are going. I think this is good service. But I did encounter 1 staff which I found him to be rude and not so willing to help. But it could have been a language problem I hope. Anyway I can speak simple Japanese and I doubt he misunderstood me. Considering that I've stayed for consecutive 5 nights there, it would have been perfect if the check out was slightly negotiable.

The Mercure Ginza is very conveniently located in the middle of Ginza within a few minutes walk of two subway lines. The hotel is very new (around 2 years old), very clean and the room is reasonably sized with a nice bathroom (in general, Tokyo hotels have small rooms with pre-moulded bathrooms). It was comfortable but it's not a deluxe hotel. There is no driveway or hotel staff at the main entrance so the taxi has to stop at the curb and you have to carry your own luggage to the reception and then to your room. The breakfast buffet at the hotel's one restaurant was reasonable considering the price. Other than that, there are no other facilities like gym or swimming pool at the hotel. I got the best price on RatesToGo.com after comparing about 8 different websites including the hotel's own site. Overall, a very good location, very clean, good size room, and reasonable price. I would recommend Mercure Ginza to anyone looking for a good 4-star hotel in downtown Tokyo.

Splendid location. 7 eleven and 24 hour Mcdonald just 2 mins across the road. Staff speaks well in English and room are big ; comfortable and very clean. Only thing is the shower gel was not replenished daily. We ran out on the first day and have to use soap instead. TV channel is very limited with no movie channels such as HBO . There is nothing to watch ; mostly news or variety show in Japanese that we do not understand.

This hotel was very beautiful in a lovely, central shopping area of Tokyo. It had very good facilities including tea and coffee, a japanese style tub and japanese pyjamas. It was very clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was definitely worth attending. I'll stay here again!
